Puget Sound Dog Sports (PSDS) is a non-profit group specializing in training dogs and handlers for competition in French Ringsport and Schutzhund. PSDS was founded in 2008 by Matt and Shannon in Kingston, WA and is dedicated to helping both dogs and people compete in dog sports.

Note: We are not a business, this is what we do for fun.  We all have full time jobs.  This website represents a hobby that we all enjoy in our free time.

PSDS is recognized by NARA, the North American Ringsport Association.  Our goal is to promote proper training in agility, obedience and protection skills for working dogs.  We are a club that accepts all breeds, but working prospects must possess the proper drive and character to handle the rigorous demands of training for competition.

PSDS is based in Kingston, WA and includes friends from  the greater Seattle Area.  We regularly train on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  We also frequently train with our friends in Seabeck and Canada.

PSDS offers a positive and friendly atmosphere for dogs and handlers alike.  Members of PSDS have years of experience with both working and pet dogs.  We help to encourage new individuals and offer tips for seasoned veterans.  Our goal is to promote cooperation and the growth of all dog sports.  However, due to the nature of the sports we specialize in, not all dogs are suitable for competition.
